We’re sorry if any of your personal property is lost or damaged whilst at CarFest. Neither the organisers, venue owner or BBC Children in Need can be held responsible.
A minimum of 25% of the price of each ticket sold goes to BBC Children in Need (registered charity number 802052, England & Wales, SC039557, Scotland), plus all further profits from the running of CarFest.

Many young children have enjoyed the CarFest events - many of them enjoying live music for the first time on the shoulders of their parents. A great sight to behold. However, there are some precautions you may wish to take to ensure that it is an enjoyable experience for you all.
The Hill Climb may feature Formula 1 and other cars which are very loud. If you are intent on watching these from close quarters we would recommend using ear protection on children for their own comfort. Likewise it is not recommended that young children get too close to the sound systems for the main stage.
The music on each evening will go on until 10pm or 11pm. You should use your judgement and knowledge of your children to determine whether they, and therefore you, will find this enjoyable or not.
For hygiene and safety reasons ONLY registered guide dogs will be allowed in any part of CarFest, including the campsite. Dogs cannot be left in vehicles or caravans at any time. Visitors attempting to bring a dog (other than a guide dog) onto the campsite or Festival site will be turned away and no ticket refund will be given.
Volunteering is a really great way to enjoy the festival and you can work with friends, family and will make great new friends whilst you’re here. It’s a great opportunity to be part of the team that helps stage the event and to understand how the event works.
This year we’re very pleased to announce that CarFest will be working in partnership with Festaff who will be organising our volunteering force. We’re looking for friendly, polite and honest individuals to join our team and become part of our fantastic festivals.
To apply for a volunteer position at either CarFest North or South, please visit the Festaff website for more details and follow the application process.

This year, having listened to your feedback and reviewed our system, we are implementing a new way of purchasing Caravan and Campervan permits. This means you must purchase a camping ticket before you can apply for a permit. For more details on the new permit system, click here.
Visitors without a permit will not be permitted onto the campsite with their vehicle and will have to find alternative accommodation.
If you are holding a weekend camping ticket your tickets include Friday, Saturday and Sunday night camping, should you wish to spend the whole weekend with us. Catering and toilet facilities will remain open until Monday morning.
The campsite is open from 7am* on Friday morning until 11am* on Monday morning.
*Please note that all times are subject to change. Final details and timings will be sent out with your tickets and will also be updated on this page.
Those with a caravan/campervan permit will be allocated 9m x 7m pitches. Specific plots will be allocated upon arrival. We would ask guests to please respect the allocated 9m x 7m pitch, although of course we understand there may be instances where vehicles exceed these dimensions slightly.
There are no specific plot sizes in the main camp site but we would ask guests to please be considerate when pitching tents. Although there are no specific pitch sizes, you should arrange your tents in such a way to minimise the space you use. If you are using an unreasonable amount of space you may be asked to re-pitch or take some tents down.
As is the way at all festivals you should expect to camp close to your neighbours - you're almost certain to get on.
Please don't try to reserve space for others, if you wish to camp with others please meet in the car park and enter the camp site together.
Electric hook ups are available for visitors with a permit. To purchase by our supplier Lightech, please fill in the form below and email back to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All orders must be complete by 17th August.
Please note: Electric hook ups are ONLY available for visitors with a Caravan or Motor Home permit holders.
To complete the form please click here.
The main cark park is next-door to the main campsite. So, depending on where you park and camp, this will incur only a short walk. To help with this, it’s advisable to travel relatively light. You may also bring a trolley or hire one from our friends Airs and Graces from May.
Please be aware of the risks of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. We advise visitors to never use a fuel-burning appliance inside your tent or awning. Even a warm barbecue can be lethal.
